WAIMEA ARBORETUM AND BOTANICAL GARDEN VARIEGATED CROWN FLOWER, Calotropis gigantea cv'Dana Anne Yee'

One of 7, Variegated Crown Flower, Calotropis gigantea cv. ' Dana Anne Yee' was delivered to it's new home at Waimea Arboretum and Botanical Garden. Recently, Jari Sugano of the University of Hawai`i Urban Garden Center raised this Crown Flower from the mother plant that we presented to her and the gardens earlier this year.. David Orr graciously accepted the plant and recorded it, Accession No. 23P68 on October 8, 2023. It was a beautiful morning at the gardens . Mahalo David Orr and team for protecting and bringing the Waimea Valley, Waimea Arboretum and Botanical Gardens to their full glory. The Gardens and the many rare, flowering, and interesting plans look great.
