Mahalo also goes to Joshlyn D. Sand, the Director of the Honolulu Botanical Gardens, who approved a permit for our Dana Anne Yee Foundation to survey for pest species in 3 of our Honolulu Botanical Gardens. In October, we met with Anna Mentac, Foster Botanical Garden Supervisor to review and start trapping sites for pests at Foster Botanical Garden. Later in the week, we met with Brian Groelsma, Ho`omaluhia Botanical Garden Supervisor, and Christopher Buehler, Wahiawa Botanical Garden Supervisor and Pam to start trapping sites to survey for pests at the Ho`omaluhia and Wahiawa Botanical Gardens.

It was pleasure meeting Anna, Brian, Christopher and Pam at the City and County of Honolulu's beautiful, well maintained, and cared for Botanical Gardens.
