DANA ANNE YEE FOUNDATION MEETING AT BANGKOK CHEF IN MANOA - FEBRUARY 28, 2026

The Dana Anne Yee Foundation celebrated our first meeting of 2026 with the happiness that Nancy Green Miller was back in town. We had a meeting full of discussing the successes of our 10 year old foundation. We discussed the early detection of 220 Newly Arrived Species to Hawai`i and New State Records, as well as discovery of 30 new species to our islands. William showed traps that he made for future surveying work for invasive pest species. Scott Miller from Washington State and Jeannie Yee members of our foundation joined the meeting and enjoyed the delicious Bangkok Chef lunch in Manoa.

We mentioned that the off shoot of our foundation is the Crown Flower Society. Days earlier Alberto Ricordi emailed that the Urban Garden Center will be having a tree planting celebration of the rare Variegated Crown Flower "Dana Anne Yee" Tree on March 4, 2026. Nancy, Jeannie, William, Dana, Mr. Richard Nishida, Alberto, and Tina Lau will be present.
